    Aluminum cans and tin cans can be recycled in your curbside recycling container.Curbside recycling is available to all residents in Lewis County. Please rinse your cans, make sure they are empty and dry. Please throw away loose tin can lids. If possible, leave attached when opening and turn them inside the can when recycling. No other scrap metal can be included in your curbside recycling container.   7. Lewis County transfer stations are closed for Thanksgiving Day

    Happy Thanksgiving! Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. They will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov. 28. The administration office at the Centralia site, however, will be closed until Monday, Dec. 1.

  9. Fee Schedule

    During the 2025 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1858 which increases the recording fee to $301.00 for recording an assignment, substitution, or appointment of trustee.   10. Drop off sensitive documents at Community Recycle Event

    The LeMay Mobile Shredding Truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 10. Customers may bring up to 3 grocery bags or boxes of sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. The shredded paper will be recycled after the event.
