    Plan to attend a WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter workshop to learn how to test your soil. By knowing your soil type and characteristics, you can make it better with compost.   5. Shred sensitive documents at Napavine Community Recycle Event

    The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, between Napavine and Winlock, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 25. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.

    Commercial Vehicle Enforcement responsibilities include:Commercial enforcement throughout the county.Coordinating training on CDL issues and keeping records to comply with federal code reference Medical Cards and Driver Abstracts.Assisting the Road Maintenance Supervisors with Haz-Mat issues and any other issues that they need assistance with.Represents the Sheriff Office on the Code Enforcement committee.     Volunteers in the cities of Chehalis, Centralia, and sometimes other communities in Lewis County organize volunteers to pick up litter. The city of Chehalis has a group of active volunteers called the Chehalis Clean Team.
