Functional Family Therapy (FFT) This program was part of a cost-benefit analysis completed by the Washington State Institute for Public Policy on several violence prevention and reduction programs, including six Blueprints programs: Watching the Bottom Line: Cost-Effective Interventions for Reducing Crime in Washington. Program Summary Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an outcome-driven prevention/intervention program for youth who have demonstrated the entire range of maladaptive, acting out behaviors and related syndromes. Program Targets: Youth, aged 11-18, at risk for and/or presenting with delinquency, violence, substance use, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, or Disruptive Behavior Disorder. Community Recycle Event in Randle
Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to recycle scrap metal, appliances, and passenger and light truck tires at a Community Recycle Event in Randle from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 13 at the intersection of U.S. Forest Service Road 47 and Silverbrook Road, next to Mount Adams Riding Club entrance. This event is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. When the containers are full, they will be closed. Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. They can bring in up to 10 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted. Customers must be prepared to leave containers at the event as staff will not have an area to pour the …

Tire Recycling Event in Packwood (10/14)
Lewis County residents may recycle up to 12 tires per household for free today at the Packwood Community Hall. Tires can be passenger or light truck tires, on or off the rim, or semi-truck tires off the rim. The event will not be able to accept any other type of tire. Customers should be prepared to show proof of Lewis County residency. They will also be expected to unload their own tires.
