    The Records Division of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office is open to serve the public Monday through Friday, (except Holidays), 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We are located in the Law and Justice Center at 345 W. Main Street, Chehalis, Washington.The records staff independently coordinates and performs a broad range of technical support services to the Operations, Corrections and Services Bureaus.     In partnership with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, this course is provided for commissioners and board members to help meet an important training requirement of the Open Government Trainings Act. In addition to forming the district, the agreement established flow control, directing all solid waste generated in Lewis County to be disposed of at LCSWDD sites.     The Lewis County Search and Rescue program is under the guidance and direction of the Lewis County Sheriff and his designees. The program is greatly dependent upon the efforts of many volunteers from the local communities and could not exist without their dedication.In 1959 the Mossyrock Search and Rescue Unit was developed to fill the need for an organized search and rescue unit. They were joined by Salkum in 1977 and Packwood in 1978.
