  5. Transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed for Veterans Day

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed in observance of the Veterans Day holiday today, Tuesday, Nov. 11. They will resume regular hours on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

  6. Shred sensitive documents at Napavine Community Recycle Event

    The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, between Napavine and Winlock, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 25. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.

  10. Leaf Exchange Event: Final Day!

    Rake up and bag your leaves so gardeners and composters can put them to good use. Bagged leaves may be dropped off on the event day. Leaves will be available for pickup on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will be on hand to inspect leaves and help the event run smoothly. The event is across the street from its normal location and will be a drive-through event at the Floral Park Sustainability Project at the corner of Floral Street and South Tower Avenue in Centralia.
