Open House at MRC Tool Bucket Library
An open house will take place from 9 a.m. to noon July 13 at the MRC Tool Bucket Library so volunteers can showcase the future community tool lending library, explain how the program will work, and provide information to get involved. Nancy Toenyan, the current Board members for District Four and Victor Khvoroff of District Five have expressed a willingness to serve another term with the Weed Board. New broadband plan aims to gain federal funding to expand internet access in Lewis County

Construction moves forward on bringing high-speed internet service to parts of south Lewis County
WINLOCK - The Winlock-area broadband expansion project is a public-private partnership between Lewis County and ToledoTel with the assistance of a $23.5 million grant from the Washington State Broadband Office including $2.3 million from ToledoTel.Robinson Brothers Construction began work along Lane Dr. and Meier Rd. in Winlock, with hopes of extending the future network by adding three miles each week. MIssion Statement The Lewis County Sheriff's Office maintains a group of specially trained and equipped deputies that are able to operate in a variety of tactical environments. SRT exists to minimize danger to the public and other law enforcement officers by responding to situations which exceed the capabilities and/or resources of a standard law enforcement response.
