Leaf Event 2025: First Day!
Rake up and bag your leaves so gardeners and composters can put them to good use. Bagged leaves may be dropped off on the event day. Leaves will be available for pickup today on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights starting today, Saturday and Sunday of this week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. The event will continue for three consecutive weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Fleet Services Division is responsible for purchasing, liquidating, and mechanically maintaining vehicles and heavy equipment for all departments throughout the County fleet. The fleet's maintenance locations are comprised of two separate repair facilities. The Planned Growth Committee (PGC) is made up of the Mayor, or their designee, from each city in Lewis County and the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners.
