  5. Lewis County transfer stations are closed for Thanksgiving Day

    Happy Thanksgiving! Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. They will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov. 28. The administration office at the Centralia site, however, will be closed until Monday, Dec. 1.

    The Sheriff's Evidence Department manages collection of medication drop boxes.   7. Visit Centralia College's Earth Day Resource Fair

    Lewis County Solid Waste Utility staff and volunteers will participate in an Earth Day Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the lobby of the TransAlta Commons at Centralia College. Learn about our special recycling events and community programs that help reduce waste and take care of Lewis County's environment.

    Functions include but are not necessarily limited to:Survey - Responsible for all aspects of surveying for County roads and bridges.Maintain and update the County Control Network utilizing GlobalPositioning System (GPS) and conventional survey methods.   9. Shred sensitive documents in Vader today

    Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 5 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16. There is a free community service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place in the parking lot of Dailey Storage, 110 7th St., Vader, WA 98593.
