Spiritual Counseling
Youth have opportunities throughout the week to do group counseling and/or individualized counseling. Services provided by:Young Life who provides services to connect youth to Christ while in custody and out of custody such as, but not limited to team building exercises, bible study, one-on-one counseling.Christ for Life and Prisons for Christ who provide services such as, but not limited to bible study, seminary, in custody concerts, and one-on-one counseling to those in custody.These services are available throughout the week to any in-custody youth who would like to participate.

Sheriff Marine Patrol
The Lewis County Sheriff's Office marine patrol unit and education program was created in the early 1980's in response to the increasing amount of recreational boaters. As recreational boating increased, so did the responsibilities of the marine unit. Today our primary responsibilities are education and enforcement. The Sheriff's Office has two lake vessels, a 20 foot Almar, and a 21 foot N.River. We have two primary inland lakes that we patrol: Lake Mayfield (2,250 sq. acres) and Riffe Lake (11,830 sq. acres). There are several other bodies of water including Mineral Lake, Lake Scanewea, and the Chehalis and Cowlitz Rivers. …

If you want to become more of a Do-It-Yourselfer, meet resourceful people in your community, and help the environment at the same time, the WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter (MRC) Volunteers have organized “Connecting Neighbors,” a series of workshops, events, and open houses in honor of Earth Month in conjunction with the MRC Tool Bucket Library (TBL) and local partners.The workshops take place every Friday starting on April 3 and running through May 1 with a special event on Saturday, May 2, to round out the Earth Month celebration.
