Community Advisory Committee being formed to help with updated Onalaska Subarea Plan
You are invited to a community meeting about the subarea plan at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 in the Onalaska Elementary School Multipurpose Room. Staff will summarize the process to update the plan and answer questions from the public.Also, volunteers are needed to serve on the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to help with the subarea plan update. The Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) is a group of volunteers who advise the Lewis County Board of Commissioners on solid waste management. Lewis County Planning Commission discusses RV parks, campgrounds and the Packwood Subarea Plan
Community Development is updating the rules for new RV parks and campgrounds. The Planning Commission will hold a workshop 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, where staff will present the changes. Plan to attend Tools, Treasures & Treats, the Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County's first tool and bake sale to raise money to support the new MRC Tool Bucket Library. The two-day event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11 at the Floral Park Sustainability Park, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia.
