  5. Scrap Metal & Tool Recycling Event in Winlock (5/22)

    Residents may drop off scrap metal and household appliances, such as washers, dryers, hot water heaters, dish washers, stoves, refrigerators, freezers. This event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the old Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, Winlock, WA 98596.     Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights.
