1. Short Term Rental Registry Process

    On January 1, 2026, all owners and operators of short-term rentals (also known as Air BnBs) will be required to register the rental through Lewis County. Owners/operators will have one calendar year to come into compliance.     Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the spring Repair & Sustainability Fair at the SWFT Center at Centralia College, 807 W. Pear St.
