  2. Transfer stations closed for Christmas Day!

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed on Thursday, December 25 for the Christmas Day Holiday. Transfer stations will resume their regular hours on Friday, Dec. 26. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In-bound gates in Centralia close 15 minutes prior to facility closure.; Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  8. Short Term Rental Registry Process

    On January 1, 2026, all owners and operators of short-term rentals (also known as Air BnBs) will be required to register the rental through Lewis County. Owners/operators will have one calendar year to come into compliance.     Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility.     Sensitive Document Shredding Event at the Community Recycle Event at the old Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, Winlock: The mobile shredding truck will be on site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.
