Do I need a permit to replace my pump? No. Work that is conducted within the septic/pump tank does not require a permit generally. Examples of this type of work that do NOT require a permit includes cleaning, changing, or retrofitting your tank with an effluent filter, measuring sludge accumulation, pumping the septic tank/pump chamber, or cleaning of the back-flow prevention valve. Community Recycle Event at the old Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, Winlock, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or leftover cleaners, aerosol cans, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals. Please be prepared to leave your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events.
