Sensitive Document Shredding offered at Repair Fair in Morton
Residents may bring up to 5 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled after the event at a paper recycling facility. The event will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the Repair & Sustainability Fair at the Morton Senior Center, 103 Westlake Ave., Morton, WA 98356.

Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals. Shred sensitive documents at Napavine Community Recycle Event
The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, between Napavine and Winlock, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 25. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.
