    Lewis County Solid Waste Utility is partnering with Green Sheen Paint and the Southwest Washington Fair to offer a free paint recycling event on Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop off unwanted paint cans and leftover paint. The event will take place in the Blue Pavilion Parking Lot at the Southwest Washington Fairground, 1909 S. Gold Street, Centralia, WA 98531. The event is open to residential and business customers. To view or request a copies of documents filed in a specific case or obtain a CD recording of hearings, the Court Records Request form will need to be filled out and submitted to the court.   8. Drop off sensitive documents at Community Recycle Event

    The LeMay Mobile Shredding Truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 10. Customers may bring up to 3 grocery bags or boxes of sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. The shredded paper will be recycled after the event.

  9. Transfer stations closed for Christmas Day!

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed on Thursday, December 25 for the Christmas Day Holiday. Transfer stations will resume their regular hours on Friday, Dec. 26. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In-bound gates in Centralia close 15 minutes prior to facility closure.; Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    The Property and Evidence Office is located off-site from the Law and Justice Center. Property items may be picked up Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays) by appointment only. The Property and Evidence Division is responsible for the overall security, storage and proper disposition of evidence obtained by officers of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
