The Auditor's Office Recording, Elections, and Vehicle Licensing departments will have new office hours as of May 3, 2011. The office will be open to the public: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office will be closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Auditor's Office seeks "For" and "Against" Committees
The Lewis County Auditor’s Office is seeking members to complete "For" and "Against” statements for the following districts with proposed resolutions for the February 11, 2026 Special Election:"For" Committees:Centralia School District No. 401"Against" Committees:Boistfort School District No. 234Onalaska School District No. 300Centralia School District No. 401The Auditor’s Office will use the following criteria when making appointments:Have an email address and the demonstrated ability to communicate rapidly by email.Shall agree to work collaboratively with co-committee members.Must be a registered voter in the jurisdiction.The deadline for anyone seeking committee appointment is noon on December 19, 2025.
