Sensitive Document Shredding Event in Pe Ell
Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14 at Pe Ell Town Hall, 111 Main St., Pe Ell, WA 98572 as part of Pe Ell's Community Recycle Event.

Scrap Metal Recycling Event near Vader and Winlock today
Lewis County residents may recycle scrap metal and household appliances for free at the old solid waste drop box at 1105 Winlock-Vader Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 7 at a special recycling event organized by the City of Vader and Lewis County Solid Waste Utility. Household appliances accepted in the recycling containers at the event include washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves/ranges, and dish washers. Clematis orientalis Oriental Clematis - A moderately vigorous, climbing shrub that forms a mass of stems and grows upwards of 27 feet long.Leaves: Opposite on stems, pinnately compound with 5-7 leaflets.Flowers: Flowers bloom from June-December. Can be single flowers or flower clusters. Solanum rostratum Buffalobur - An annual plant growing around 1.5-3 feet tall, covered in spines and hairs.Leaves: Alternate leaves 2-6 inches long. Leaves are irregularly cut into 5-7 lobes and are very prickly.Flowers: Flowers bloom from June-September. 3-15 flowers per flower cluster.
