These events will take place at Pe Ell Town Hall, 111 Main St., Pe Ell, WA, on June 11. Specific times for individual recycling or drop-off opportunities may vary.Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals. Please be prepared to leaves your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Rake up and bag your leaves so gardeners and composters can put them to good use. Bagged leaves may be dropped off on the event day. Leaves will be available for pickup each day on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will be on hand to inspect leaves and help the event run smoothly. The event is across the street from its normal location and will be a drive-through event at the Floral Park Sustainability Project at the corner of Floral Street and South Tower Avenue in Centralia. Final day for Christmas tree and holiday light recycling
Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. Today is the final day for the recycling event! Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Donations will be accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteer community outreach programs. Flocked and artificial trees will not be accepted.
