    The goal of the Tuberculosis Program is to stop the spread of tuberculosis. This is done through targeted testing, early diagnosis and treatment. What services are provided by the Health Department?   10. Tire Recycling Events

    When grant funding becomes available, Lewis County Code Enforcement and Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility Division partner to hold tire recycling events.At these events, passenger and light truck tires will be accepted for free, and the tires can be on or off the rim. Please do not bring tires from businesses, semi-trucks or heavy equipment, as the county is unable to accept them.While there are no special recycling events currently scheduled, Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton do recycle many types of tires for a fee.For more information, please call the Solid Waste Utility …
