    The Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County have officially opened the MRC Tool Bucket Library and the Floral Park Sustainability Park. They are inviting the public to an open house from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at Floral Park Sustainability Project, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia, to learn about both community programs. The tool library is just like a book library, but it offers tools for checkout.     The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be at the WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter (MRC) Volunteers' Christmas Tree Recycling Event in the parking lot before you enter the Lewis County transfer station in Centralia at 1411 S. Tower Ave. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 3, 2026. Residential customers may bring up to 3 bags or boxes of sensitive documents they would like to have shredded.     About SWAC The Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) serves in an advisory capacity in the development of programs and policies concerning solid waste handling and disposal and to review and comment upon proposed rules, policies, or ordinances prior to their adoption (RCW 70A.205.110).
