Lewis County transfer stations close for Juneteenth holiday
Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today Thursday, June 19) in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. This closure includes the Administration Office in Centralia. The transfer stations and Administration Office will resume regular hours on Friday, June 20.

Repair & Sustainability Fair in Morton: The WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter (MRC) volunteers are teaming up with Centralia College East, the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility and others in the community to host a Repair & Sustainability Fair in Morton. Scrap Metal, Aluminum Cans, Tin Cans
Aluminum cans and tin cans can be recycled in your curbside recycling container.Curbside recycling is available to all residents in Lewis County. Please rinse your cans, make sure they are empty and dry. Please throw away loose tin can lids. If possible, leave attached when opening and turn them inside the can when recycling. No other scrap metal can be included in your curbside recycling container. Lewis County transfer stations are closed for Thanksgiving Day
Happy Thanksgiving! Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. They will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov. 28. The administration office at the Centralia site, however, will be closed until Monday, Dec. 1.
