Christmas Tree & Holiday Light Recycling: Shortened Schedule This Year!
Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Saturday, Sunday, and Jan. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. This year's event is fewer days than in previous years, so make sure you get your trees in during this nine-day event. Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency Medicine Collection Day, 10am - 2pm
The DEA is sponsoring an unused medicine collection day. This program is free to the public. The event will take place at the Rochester Community Center located at 10140 U.S. Highway 12, Rochester, WA 98579. The hours of the event are 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.
