  5. Public hearing for the purpose of leasing solid waste transfer stations

    The Lewis County of Commissioners will host a public hearing on or after 10 a.m. March 11 in the Commissioners' hearing room on the second floor of the Historic Lewis County Courthouse in Chehalis. The purpose of the hearing is to consider renewal of the leases of its solid waste transfer stations in Centralia and Morton to the Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1, a quasi-municipal corporation.   6. Chips for Trails Event in Vader

    The City of Vader is hosting its annual Chips for Trails Event at McMurphy Park on Annonen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19. Lewis County residents can drop off chippable branches and limbs that are no larger than 6 inches in diameter. This material will be chipped to spread on park trails.
