1. Lewis County transfer stations are open on Juneteenth

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours on the state-observed Juneteenth holiday, Monday, June 20. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please remember that both facilities close their gates 15 minutes before facility closure. The Administration Office at the Centralia site, however, is closed on June 20. It will resume regular hours on Tuesday, June 21.

    Lewis County solid waste transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours today. The Solid Waste Utility Administration Office in Centralia is closed on all holidays. It will resume regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

    Lewis County Noxious Weeds is covering the dump fee for your bagged tansy ragwort! Start bagging your tansy ragwort from now until mid June and let us cover your dump fees. We are offering this free service at 6 different locations across Lewis county for short time frames so please be sure to schedule accordingly. Help out your neighbors with small vehicles and lets band together to maximize this effort!
