1. Recording Fee Increases 7/27/2025

    During the 2025 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1858 which increases the recording fee to $301.00 for recording an assignment, substitution, or appointment of trustee. SHB 1498 was also passed increasing the marriage license fee by $100.00.Click here to view the new fee schedule

  2. Christmas Day observed: Transfer stations are open!

    Transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours today. The Lewis County Solid Waste Utility Administration Office, however, is closed today in observance of the Christmas Day holiday. The administration office will resume regular hours on Tuesday.

    K9 Team CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LEWIS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEW K9 TEAM, Deputy Jared Kasinger and his K9 partner Kimbo!Deputy Kasinger has worked as a patrol deputy for the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office since 2017.
