Wedding ceremonies are performed at the Lewis County Courthouse Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m., and may also be performed at other locations and times, subject to the availability of the Judges.   6. Sensitive document shredding service offered in Chehalis

    Residents may bring up to 5 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. This is a free community service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the spring Repair & Sustainability Fair at the Chehalis Outfitters, 1757 N. National Ave., Chehalis, WA. Funded in part by a Local Solid Waste and Financial Assistance Grant from the Department of Ecology.

    When grant funding becomes available, Lewis County Code Enforcement and Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility Division partner to hold tire recycling events.At these events, passenger and light truck tires will be accepted for free, and the tires can be on or off the rim.
