1. Lewis County transfer stations close for Juneteenth holiday

    Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today Thursday, June 19) in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. This closure includes the Administration Office in Centralia. The transfer stations and Administration Office will resume regular hours on Friday, June 20.

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed in observance of the Independence Day Holiday today (Friday, July 4). This closure includes the Administration Office at the Centralia site. Normal hours resume for transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will resume on Saturday, July 5. The Administration Office will reopen on Monday, July 7.

    Aluminum cans and tin cans can be recycled in your curbside recycling container.Curbside recycling is available to all residents in Lewis County. Please rinse your cans, make sure they are empty and dry. Please throw away loose tin can lids. If possible, leave attached when opening and turn them inside the can when recycling. No other scrap metal can be included in your curbside recycling container.
