Learn how to test your soil at workshop in Morton
Plan to attend a WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter workshop to learn how to test your soil. By knowing your soil type and characteristics, you can make it better with compost. Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals.
