  8. Household Hazardous Collection Day in Morton

    Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals. Businesses may not bring hazardous materials to the East Lewis County Transfer Station. For more information, please call 360-740-1221.

  9. Sensitive Document Shredding Event in Centralia

    Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in conjunction with the Repair & Sustainability Fair at Centralia College. The exact location is TBD.

  10. Tire Recycling Event Sponsored by the Solid Waste Division, Sept 27 - Oct 2

    Monday, September 27th through Saturday, October 2nd at the Central Transfer Station located at 1411 So. Tower Ave. in Centralia. Hours that tires will be accepted at the Central Transfer Station site are 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. Residents must come prepared to unload their own tires and please anticipate waiting in line to unload. For more information please click here.
