1. Lewis County transfer stations close for Memorial Day

    Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today (Monday, June 26) for the Memorial Day Holiday. The Administration Office at the Centralia site is also closed. They will resume normal operations on Tuesday, May 27.

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed on Christmas Day. They will resume their regular hours on Saturday, Dec. 26. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  6. Jackson Highway Closure & Detour Route

    The Jackson Highway Bridge crossing the Newaukum River was opened to traffic on Friday, February 18, 2011, at 4 p.m. Future work will occur, with flagger-controlled, one-way traffic during working hours and unrestricted two-way traffic during non-working hours
