  2. Recycle Christmas Trees & Holiday Lights Today (1/5)

    Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Donations will be accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteer community outreach programs. Flocked and artificial trees will not be accepted. You may dispose of flocked or artificial trees at the transfer station, where regular fees will apply ($20 minimum for 340 pounds or less.)     Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours today, Nov. 28. The administration office at the transfer station in Centralia, however, is closed. It will return to regular hours on Monday, Dec. 1.

    CHEHALIS – The Lewis County Sheriff's Office will be moving to a new online process for applying for or renewing your Concealed Pistol License (CPL).Beginning Monday, May 15, applicants will now have the ability to access the Lewis County Sheriff's Office website and select the link for applying for a new, or renewal of your current CPL.
