Construction at the Central Transfer Station
Expect delays at the Central Transfer Station while contractors repair the tipping floor, beginning Oct 1, 2018, through the end of November. Customers wanting to avoid the construction will be directed to another disposal location at the transfer station. An alternative during construction would be to call LeMay Enterprises and subscribe to curbside service at your place of residence. For curbside service, please call LeMay Enterprises, 360-736-4769.

Hazo Hut is open in Centralia
Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights. Turn left and go one block to SE Washington Ave. You'll need to find parking on the street around the building. Plovidence Place is a light brown apartment building that takes up the entire block.

Issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a total compensation study
Please see attached. In response to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus, Lewis County will accept proposals for its Total Compensation Study via email at bids@lewiscountywa.gov. Electronic signatures also will be accepted. Proposals submitted via email must include “Total Compensation Study” in the subject line. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. April 27, 2020. Please note that submissions cannot exceed 20MB.
