The Disposal District governing board meets monthly in the Lewis County Commissioners’ meeting room, second floor of the Lewis County Historic Courthouse, 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis. The meetings are held on the fourth Monday at 11:00 a.m., excluding holidays. This is an Open Public Meeting. This meeting is barrier free. Hazo Hut at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, is open today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residential customers can drop off the following items for free unwanted household chemicals, up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights and up to 5 gallons of used motor oil or antifreeze. The household hazardous waste collection facility is open every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
