Sensitive Document Shredding in Pe Ell (6/22)
Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. Mandatory Boating Safety Education Class Offered in Lewis County August 7, 2010 Mandatory Boating Safety Education became a reality for Washington Boaters starting January of 2008. Boaters under the age of 26 years old are now required to possess a valid boating safety card when operating a vessel with a motor of 15 horsepower or greater. Every year Lewis County Sheriff’s Office responds to preventable drowning deaths related to swimming and boating accidents. As warm weather approaches, the Sheriff’s Office wants to remind the public of a few safety precautions before taking a dip in the waterways of Lewis County. Construction moves forward on bringing high-speed internet service to parts of south Lewis County
WINLOCK - The Winlock-area broadband expansion project is a public-private partnership between Lewis County and ToledoTel with the assistance of a $23.5 million grant from the Washington State Broadband Office including $2.3 million from ToledoTel.Robinson Brothers Construction began work along Lane Dr. and Meier Rd. in Winlock, with hopes of extending the future network by adding three miles each week. Last Weekend to Recycle Christmas Trees & Lights
Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. This is the last weekend to drop off Christmas trees for recycling. Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees.
