  2. Sensitive Document Shredding Event in Centralia

    Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in conjunction with the Repair & Sustainability Fair at Centralia College. The exact location is TBD.

  3. Lewis County Transfer Stations are open Memorial Day

    Lewis County Transfer Stations are open regular hours on Memorial Day, May 31. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Both sites close their in-bound gates 15 minutes prior to facility closure.Transfer stations are only closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, July 4, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Both sites close in-bound gates 15 minutes prior to facility closure! Transfer stations are only closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, July 4, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

  5. Tire Recycling Event Sponsored by the Solid Waste Division, Sept 27 - Oct 2

    Monday, September 27th through Saturday, October 2nd at the Central Transfer Station located at 1411 So. Tower Ave. in Centralia. Hours that tires will be accepted at the Central Transfer Station site are 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. Residents must come prepared to unload their own tires and please anticipate waiting in line to unload. For more information please click here.

  8. Lewis County transfer stations closed for Christmas Day

    Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed on Saturday, December 25 for the Christmas Day Holiday. Transfer stations are always closed on Sundays. They will resume their regular hours on Monday, Dec. 27. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In-bound gates at both transfer stations close 15 minutes prior to facility closure.
