Free Christmas Tree and Wreathe Recycling
The Lewis County Solid Waste Utility and the Master Gardener and Master Recycler Composter programs are sponsoring a free Christmas tree and wreathe collection event. Please remove all decorations, tinsel, and wires. Flocked or artificial trees will not be accepted. Trees from commercial operations will not be accepted. Donations will be accepted to support the Master Gardener and Master Recycler Composter programs. The event details are as follows: Location: Central Transfer Station; 1411 South Tower Avenue, Centralia Dates: December 26 to January 8, 2010 Hours: 9:00 A.M. to 4 P.M. daily

Open to all Lewis County residents. Customers must be prepared to unload their own vehicles. No garbage, air conditioners, televisions, or other electronic equipment will be accepted. Please go to the Solid Waste Special Events Page for more details and contact information.
