  3. Know Your Soils Workshop

    Know Your Soils: Attend this WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter workshop to learn how to test your soil. By knowing your soil type, you can make it better with compost. After registering, you will receive instructions on how to prepare a soil sample and what other materials you will need for the class. The registration deadline to attend the in-person class, and receive a free soil-test kit was Feb. 16. You may still be able to watch the workshop via Zoom.   6. Lewis County Noxious Weed Map

    ArcGIS Noxious Weeds Map Click on the map icon to the left to view. In 2022, your noxious weed control team began recording noxious weed infestations on iForm to be displayed on this map. Although many infestations noted this year have not yet been uploaded, in addition to missing most historical records, we believe this is a great start to a more manageable and efficient tracking system.

  7. Basic Composting Workshop

  8. Residents can have sensitive documents shredded today

    The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the old Meskill Drop Box, 3127 State Route 6, Chehalis, across from the River Road in the Doty-Dryad area 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.
