Lewis County solid waste sites open today
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will be open regular hours today. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Remember that both sites close their inbound gates 15 minutes prior to facility closure. The Solid Waste Utility Administration Office, however, is closed today. It will resume normal hours on Monday, Nov.28.

About the Prosecutor
The Prosecuting Attorney is the chief legal officer for Lewis County. The primary mission of a Prosecuting Attorney is to enforce criminal laws and work for the victims of crime. This includes obtaining orders for restitution for the victim, informing the victim of court dates, and acting as an advocate for the victim at trial and sentencing. The Prosecuting Attorney also acts as legal counsel to the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners and county departments, assists in certain child support cases, and performs a number of other statutory duties. Lewis County transfer stations open on Memorial Day
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please remember that both facilities close their gates 15 minutes before facility closure. The Administration Office at the Centralia site, however, is closed on Memorial Day. It will resume regular hours on Tuesday, May 31.

Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open regular hours on the state-observed Juneteenth holiday, Monday, June 20. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please remember that both facilities close their gates 15 minutes before facility closure. The Administration Office at the Centralia site, however, is closed on June 20. It will resume regular hours on Tuesday, June 21.
