    The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed) is a federally funded grant program that supports evidence-based nutrition education and obesity prevention interventions and projects for persons eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) through complementary direct education, multi-level interventions, and community and public health approaches to improve nutrition.SNAP-Ed is an evidence-based program that helps people lead healthier lives.     Sensitive Document Shredding: Residents may bring up to 5 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16. There is a free community service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility at the conclusion of the event. The event will take place in the parking lot of Dailey Storage, 110 7th St., Vader, WA 98593.

The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility.     Lewis County is working with cities and communities to offer free recycling events and opportunities to properly dispose of certain materials.
