Tire Recycling Event in Morton
A free tire recycling events will be held on May 7 and May 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Bob Lyle Community Center parking lot. The address for the site is 700 Main Street in Morton.The events, which is for Lewis County residents only, will accept 15 tires per person, passenger and light truck tires on or off the rim, and semi-truck tires off the rim. Transfer Stations open today
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are open today, Jan. 2, 2023. The administration office in Centralia, however, is not open today in observance of the New Year's Day holiday. The administration office will return to regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

WSDA Pesticide Recertification Credit
WSU Lewis & Cowlitz County Extension will be hosting the Small Farm School and will be offering WSDA Pesticide Recertification Credit for two of the six programs. The program will be held at Centralia College on March 16, 2013 form 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Lewis County solid waste sites closed for Thanksgiving Day
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. They will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov. 25. The Solid Waste Utility Administration Office, however, is closed today and Friday, Nov. 25. It will be open on Monday, Nov. 28.
