    Click here for original Press Release On July 13, 2018, Winlock Fire Department responded to a fully engulfed single-wide mobile home fire at a trailer park located at 380 Minkler Road, Winlock. The fire was investigated by a Fire Investigator from Chehalis Fire Department and Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Detective J. S. Humphrey. The victim in this investigation is a 36-year-old female, whose loss amounted to about $5,000 in personal property. The mobile home was valued at about $15,000, and was a total loss.   8. Residents can bring up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights to Hazo Hut

    Hazo Hut at the Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, is open today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residential customers can drop off the following items for free up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights, leftover household chemicals, and up to 5 gallons of used motor oil or antifreeze. The household hazardous waste collection facility is open every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
