Open House for Westside Connector Project
Lewis County together with the City of Centralia will be conducting an Open House to present to the public 30% level preliminary plans and exhibits developed for the Westside Connector Project. Sensitive Document Shredding Event in Morton
Sensitive Document Shredding: Residential customers may bring up to three bags or boxes of documents they would like shredded, and then recycled. This event will take place in the recycling area of the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, near Morton. The LeMay Mobile Shredding truck will be on-site from 9 a.m. to noon.

Hazo Hut is open today (7/3)
Lewis County residents can drop off unwanted or leftover household chemicals at the Hazo Hut at the transfer station in Centralia. Used motor oil and antifreeze, up to five gallons each, can also be dropped off at this time. Up to 10 burned out fluorescent lights may also be recycled during Hazo Hut's open hours.

Free Appliance Recycling Event
ONLY FROM 10:00 AM UNTIL 3:00 PM AT THE EAST LEWIS COUNTY TRANSFER STATION LOCATED AT 6745 U. S. HWY 12 MORTON. The free items include; refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, computer towers, and monitors. Transfer stations closed for Christmas Day!
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed on Thursday, December 25 for the Christmas Day Holiday. Transfer stations will resume their regular hours on Friday, Dec. 26. Centralia is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In-bound gates in Centralia close 15 minutes prior to facility closure.; Morton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board Meeting Postponed
Board Members & Community Members:Our regular scheduled Weed Board Meeting is postponed. The meeting was scheduled for May 5, 2020.The postponement is due to the Lewis County Courthouse Closure and current COVID 19 response.We will work to reschedule the meeting as soon as possible. Hopefully sometime in mid May.Please contact our office with any questions.
