    Aluminum cans and tin cans can be recycled in your curbside recycling container.Curbside recycling is available to all residents in Lewis County. Please rinse your cans, make sure they are empty and dry. Please throw away loose tin can lids. If possible, leave attached when opening and turn them inside the can when recycling.     Lab Operating Schedule Change effective September 1, 2025Beginning Monday, September 1, the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services water laboratory will operate on a new schedule. The lab will be open weekdays during the first and second full weeks of each month.Please see our Water Lab Calendar Water Lab Calendar for specific days and times of operation.
