    When grant funding becomes available, Lewis County Code Enforcement and Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility Division partner to hold tire recycling events.At these events, passenger and light truck tires will be accepted for free, and the tires can be on or off the rim.     New online applications are being implemented for parcel data and for mapping. The Assessor has a new PATS parcel lookup system (now called Lewis County Parcels), and the GIS Division of Public Works has reworked the online mapping programs to to be compatible with it. We have combined the functionality of the two previous programs (PATSMap & CARLMap) into a single new program, the Lewis County Web Map.This program gives users added control over what layers to turn on and has newly available data, such as 2ft contours.
