New online Lewis County concealed weapons permit application begins May 15
CHEHALIS – The Lewis County Sheriff's Office will be moving to a new online process for applying for or renewing your Concealed Pistol License (CPL).Beginning Monday, May 15, applicants will now have the ability to access the Lewis County Sheriff's Office website and select the link for applying for a new, or renewal of your current CPL. Applicants for a new CPL will also be able to schedule the required fingerprint appointment, as well as pay online.The new process will create a more interactive experience that will allow the applicant to view the status of their application, as well as …

The Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) is a group of volunteers who advise the Lewis County Board of Commissioners on solid waste management. SWAC members come from all areas of the county and represent a variety of interests. The SWAC meets if there is a need to in the large conference room, Lewis County Public Services, 2025 N.E. New GIS Interactive Map Now Online
New online applications are being implemented for parcel data and for mapping. The Assessor has a new PATS parcel lookup system (now called Lewis County Parcels), and the GIS Division of Public Works has reworked the online mapping programs to to be compatible with it. We have combined the functionality of the two previous programs (PATSMap & CARLMap) into a single new program, the Lewis County Web Map.This program gives users added control over what layers to turn on and has newly available data, such as 2ft contours. Community Advisory Committee being formed to help with updated Onalaska Subarea Plan
You are invited to a community meeting about the subarea plan at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 in the Onalaska Elementary School Multipurpose Room. Staff will summarize the process to update the plan and answer questions from the public.Also, volunteers are needed to serve on the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to help with the subarea plan update.
