1. Lewis County Noxious Weed List 2015

    The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board adopted a new list for the 2015 field season. The new list includes four new weeds that were added by the Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board. Ravenna grass, Saccharum ravennae (Class A), Pampas grass, Cortaderia selloana (Class C), Jubata grass, Cortaderia jubata (Class C) and Italian arum, Arum italicum (Class C) are the new additions to the list. Gardeners and landscapers may recognize the listing of Pampas grass or Jubata grass. Both have been planted and used in the landscape.   4. Lewis County transfer stations close for Juneteenth holiday

    Lewis County Transfer Stations in Centralia and Morton are closed today Thursday, June 19) in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. This closure includes the Administration Office in Centralia. The transfer stations and Administration Office will resume regular hours on Friday, June 20.

  6. Packwood Drop Box Closes

    Lewis County will permanently close the Packwood Drop Box on Sept 26, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. Sept 26 is the final day for customers to dispose of garbage at this site. Regular rates will be charged. Questions can be directed to the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility at 360-740-1451.
