    The Planned Growth Committee (PGC) is made up of the Mayor, or their designee, from each city in Lewis County and the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners.     The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is looking for individuals interested in serving on the county’s Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC), a group of volunteers who help develop programs and policies concerning solid waste handling and disposal.Solid Waste Advisory Committee members weigh in on proposed rules, policies and ordinances, and they help Lewis County Solid Waste Utility staff develop a five-year “Solid Waste Management Plan” to guide how Lewis County manages garbage and recycling.
