  7. Recycle paint for free at the SWW Fairgrounds

    Lewis County Solid Waste Utility is partnering with Green Sheen Paint and the Southwest Washington Fair to offer a free paint recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop off unwanted paint cans and leftover paint.   9. Disposal District meeting canceled today; rescheduled to Feb. 17

    The regularly scheduled Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1 Commission Meeting on the fourth Monday of each month has been canceled, and rescheduled to Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. It will take place in the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, 351 NW North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.

  10. Tire Recycling Events

    When grant funding becomes available, Lewis County Code Enforcement and Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility Division partner to hold tire recycling events.At these events, passenger and light truck tires will be accepted for free, and the tires can be on or off the rim.
