The Real Estate Services Division is responsible for land management of properties, right-of-way, mapping, and geographic analysis in support of the Public Works Department and for the County overall.The Division manages the Public Works Department's assorted sets of historical maps, surveys, road way files, field notes, engineer tracings/drawings, and aerial photos.These are being indexed and scanned to preserve the integrity of the originals and to increase their availability. Emergency Order 2024-01 AOC/Odyssey Outage Update
On November 3, 2024 the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) notified courts across the State of Washington that a significant disruption had occurred to information systems that are hosted by the AOC due to “unauthorized activity on the Washington Courts network, "which impacts the operations of the Superior Court and Clerk’s Offices across the State of Washington.Attached is the Emergency Order 2024-01 signed by Presiding Judge Toynbee regarding rules and procedures effective immediately and on an emergent basis pertaining to this outage. Lewis County streamlines permitting for future campgrounds and RV parks
Carlisle Lake Park in Onalaska. CHEHALIS – The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has approved amendments to regulations for RV parks and campgrounds in the county. The most significant change streamlines the process for permitting.No longer is a Binding Site Plan necessary for development of new RV parks or campgrounds. A Special Use Permit (SUP) and a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review are the only requirements.“This change will significantly reduce the permitting time for RV park developers and for staff reviewing the permits,” said Lewis County Planner Preston Pinkston.“This is a great example of staff proactively looking …

The Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1 will hold a public hearing on or after 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, in the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners' hearing room at the Lewis County Courthouse, 351 N.W.
